REFLECTION IN A TROMBONE

If there is a photo that is a mark in my career (let’s call that way) as a photographer, this is it! I took it outside my father’s house in the country, where he have left a trombone of the local band he played in. After see the developed film I discovered that, yes, I could pictures that pleases me and maybe other people.  I then decided to increment my knowledges in the photography area. The picture win a award in a photo magazine and I went to a photography school were I took my professional and aestetichs studies. It was the year of 2003.

THE DOG AND HIS BIG… DICK

Last Carnival me and some friends went to the countryside, to shoot some tipical festivities related with the traditional carnival.
On the way to Vila Boa de Ousilhão we saw this dog, wolf, whatever and we just had to photograph it. We laugh a lot.
Finnaly in the village we manage to know and photograph the guy who did it and the explanation to the fact: the dog and his big… dick!

MUD RALLY

Covering the Lisbon-Dakkar Rally in 2006 (I guess) this was one of my best shots. The story is that me and all my equipment (camera, lens, etc.) get covered with mud! Months after the fact, I could still see mud in some parts of the camera.

DOLLAR LLAMA

A portuguese stoner rock band, a good one I must say. This photo from one of their last shows (with Valient Thorr), it is posted here just to show you the way I like to shoot Rock’n'Roll shows and that is showing the energy that flows on stage!

TV BALL

I like to play around with images, trying to find a new angle…

This image it’s the result of a combination of material, that I bought on a shop to do it, a decoration piece and a tv background. That’s to say that I build a kaleidoscope, put inside it the glass ball you see here, and add the  TV in the “rain” mode  as a background  !

Thats it. I called it TV BALL!
